ITALIAN SEMINAR IN EARLY MODERN PHILOSOPHY
9-11 June 2026

We are delighted to announce the second annual meeting of the Italian Seminar in Early Modern Philosophy (ISEMP), scheduled to take place at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University of Milan on June 9th-11th, 2026. The Seminar is organized by the Faculty of Philosophy of San Raffaele University (UNISR) in collaboration with the Cartesian Center of the University of Salento (UNISALENTO).
The Seminar aims to foster intellectual exchange among specialists in Early Modern Philosophy, regardless of nationality, and covers the period from Late Scholasticism to Kant’s pre-critical phase. Reading times are approximately 40 minutes with 20 minutes for discussion. The Seminar is trilingual, and the languages of presentation are Italian, English, and French.
Attendance is free and all are welcome, especially students. Travel expenses and accommodation must be covered by participants.

Please send 2 files of your abstract. The first file should include the title, your abstract, and your name and affiliation as you would like it to appear on the program. The second file should be prepared for blind review.
Abstract submission deadline: January 31st, 2026.
